The NCAA Elite Eight face-off between the Iowa Hawkeyes and LSU Tigers proved an absolute thriller. The tightly contested battle moved back and forth. However, in the end, the Hawkeyes came out on top, winning the game 94-87. The triumph has pushed the team to their fourth final appearance. The undisputed boxing champion and mixed martial artist was probably among the first to congratulate the Iowa City-based basketball team. Last month, on February 24, after a break of two years, the two-time Olympic gold marked a return to the octagon.
